A word processor that gets out of the way.
Menus where you expect them, shortcuts you already know, and a document that saves itself every two seconds without ever losing a word to a second tab.
Comments from a link
Highlight a phrase, leave a note. Send a link and the person replies without making an account. Off by default on every link, on when you say.
Two tabs, no losses
Open the same document twice and edit both. It notices, stops, and lets you choose — never silently overwrites what the other tab wrote.
Version history
A checkpoint whenever you come back after a break, a named one whenever you ask. Restore any; what you have now is kept too.
Tables, images, spelling
Insert rows and columns the way you would in Word. Drop a picture in. Spell check in the language you write in.
Export to Word and PDF
A real .docx, opened by real Word. PDFs are built on our own server, not sent through anyone else's.
Search inside
Every save writes a searchable excerpt, so finding a document by a phrase in it is a query, not a hunt.
Not yet: real-time co-editing, and importing an existing .docx.
